I was a doctor, the main household earner, and drowning in debt. My salary barely covered our living expenses, my credit cards were maxed out, and my bank manager called me in to discuss my spiralling overdraft.
I was burnt out, exhausted, and exchanging every ounce of my energy for money. I loved saving lives, but I knew I couldn’t sustain this life forever.
